Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information AqiloPulse collects and how it is used. AqiloPulse is owned and operated by Ashik Salman P.
Two different groups of people appear in this policy, and they are treated differently. Account users are the people who sign up, create questionnaires and read the results. Respondents are the people who answer a questionnaire — they do not create an account, do not sign in, and in most cases we hold no way of knowing who they are.
Account users
- What you provide: your name, organisation and email address, and an avatar if you upload one.
- What you create: your questionnaires, the reusable lists behind them, and your account settings.
- Usage and device data needed to operate and secure the service, and to keep you signed in.
People who answer a questionnaire
A respondent opens a link or scans a code and answers. There is no account, no sign-in and no profile. For each response we store:
- The answers given, and which version of the questionnaire they were answering.
- When it was started and when it was submitted, and the language it was answered in.
- A one-way fingerprint of the network address it came from — described below. We do not store the address itself.
We do not set advertising or tracking cookies on a questionnaire. So that a half-finished answer is not lost, a token is kept in the respondent's own browser storage and removed once the response is submitted; it identifies the draft, not the person.
Anonymity
A response carries no name, email address or account behind it. Nothing we store links an answer back to a person — unless the questionnaire itself asks. Whoever creates it may include a question asking for an email address, a phone number or a name, and where they do, that answer is stored with the rest of the response and is visible to them.
That is a choice made by the account running the questionnaire, not by us. If you are answering one and you are unsure how what you write will be used, ask whoever sent it to you.
The network fingerprint
When a response is submitted we store a one-way fingerprint derived from the network (IP) address it arrived from. We never store the address itself, and the fingerprint cannot be reversed back into one.
- It is salted per questionnaire, so the same person answering two different questionnaires produces two unrelated fingerprints and cannot be followed between them.
- It exists for one purpose: investigating abuse — for example, establishing that a hundred responses to one questionnaire all came from the same place.
- It is never shown to the account that created the questionnaire, and is not included in any export.
Payment information
Card and bank details never reach our servers. A payment is completed on our payment provider's own pages, and we receive only a reference for it.
What we do hold is the billing identity you enter — legal name, billing email, address, country, phone and any tax registration number — together with the amount, currency and payment reference of each transaction. We keep these as long as tax and accounting law requires, which is longer than we keep the rest of your account data.
How we use it
- To provide the service — running your account, your questionnaires and the results.
- To verify your email, secure your account, and communicate about the service.
- To keep the service reliable and to prevent and investigate abuse.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use responses to advertise to anyone.
Who else processes it, and where
Email — verification codes, password resets, invitations — is sent through Resend. Everything else, including the database and uploaded files, is on servers we run ourselves in India.
Who is responsible for what
The account that creates a questionnaire is the controller of the answers it collects. They decide what to ask, who to ask, and what to do with the replies. They are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it, for telling respondents what it will be used for, and for handling it in line with applicable law — including where they choose to ask for information that identifies someone. AqiloPulse processes it on their behalf in order to provide the service.
Retention & deletion
We keep data for as long as the account is active or as needed to provide the service. An account owner can delete a questionnaire, which deletes its responses with it. You can request deletion of your account and its data by contacting us.
If you answered a questionnaire and want your response removed, the account that ran it holds it — contact them. If you cannot reach them, contact us and we will help where we can identify the response.
